Arson being investigated as cause of Buffalo fire

Buffalo firefighters believe fire was intentionally set inside a vacant home, at 365 Dearborn Street, Thursday night.

Firefighters were called to the home in the city's Black Rock neighborhood, about 11:40 p.m. Thursday.

Flames were shooting from the second floor and the roof of the home.

Dispatchers say the fire started on the first floor and then spread to the second and the attic.

Crews say the home suffered about $50,000 in damage.

Two other homes were affected by the fire.  Dispatchers say a total of $15,000 damage was done to the other homes.

There's no word on what may have been used to start the fire.  No word on any injuries.  

Police have not made any arrests in this case.
