A popular brand of video baby monitors is being recalled to a burn risk. The recall involves Lorex Care-and-Share video baby monitors.
Lorex says the video monitor's blue lithium polymer batteries can overheat, swell and expand, causing the battery cover to pop off.
There have been nearly 500 reports of the batteries overheating and expanding. No injuries have been reported, but the batteries can be a burn hazard.
The recall targets about 26,000 baby monitors sold in the U.S. Anyone who has a recalled monitor should stop using it and contact Lorex for a full refund.
