Political powerhouse and former President Bill Clinton made a story in Western New York to rally support for his wife, Hillary. About 850 supporters packed the ballroom at the Grapevine Banquets in Depew to hear Clinton speak.
Clinton repeatedly received applause as he outlined his wife's solutions to issues like the high cost of education and job growth. He also stressed the importance of the upcoming New York primary to Hillary Clinton's presidential campaign. "We need you to tell everybody in Western New York that this is the election that could matter most in this whole long primary season," said Clinton.
Not everyone welcomed former President Clinton with open arms.
At least a dozen protestors peacefully waited outside holding signs jabbing Clinton for his affair with Monica Lewinsky during his presidency, and how Hillary Clinton handled the Benghazi attack.
Hillary is expected in Buffalo on Friday.
