Across the country, there are diehard fans of NFL teams who wear their team's logo proudly on their skin. But as with so many other parts of fandom, Bills fans have taken the team tattoo tradition to the next level.
Bills fan Matthew Carlucci now has a tattoo of fellow Bills fan Ezra Castro-- better known as Pancho Billa-- on his upper arm. The tattoo symbolizes more than support for a team. The idea came from fans supporting each other.
It all started when Carlucci, who lives in Lancaster, tweeted a link to Castro's gofundme fundraiser. Castro is battling stage four cancer, and proceeds from the gofundme will help Castro and his family. Carlucci tweeted a thread and announced that for 1,000 retweets, he would get a Pancho Billa tattoo.
I may be drunk, but if this gets 1000 RT, I’ll get @PanchoBilla1 tattooed on me.

As they tend to do, #BillsMafia stepped up and retweeted Carlucci 1,300 times. On Wednesday, he got his Pancho Billa tattoo.

Pancho BIlla himself took notice. He tweeted that he'd like to see the tattoo of his likeness in person.
