KANSAS CITY, MO — Like so many other Bills fans, Lancaster native Daniel Frederick Jr. has been waiting a long time for his favorite team to return to the AFC Championship. The minute the Chiefs beat the Browns in the Divisional Round, Frederick knew he'd be heading to Kansas City, and so would his custom-built smoker.

"I took the things that I truly love which are Bills football and barbecuing and I combined them," Frederick Jr. said." I had to bring it. The second we won that game last Saturday I knew I was coming here instantly."

Frederick Jr. had to work Friday so his father, Dan Sr., and his friend Dan Billi drove the smoker more than 14 hours to Kansas City. They said the trip went by pretty fast, as they blared the Bills shout song every hour.

“Well, Kansas City is famous for their BBQ so we brought our BBQ, some St. Louis ribs, and some Buffalo wings," Frederick Sr. said.

“Well I got a call on Monday saying 'hey, you’re going to the game with us," Billi said. "[They said] don’t make any plans'…and I said okay, so, here we are."

The three Dan's from Buffalo with their other friends will start smoking their feast early Sunday morning and they can't wait to show Chiefs Kingdom that Bills Mafia knows how to throw down.
