Blue Buffalo is recalling dog food after finding aluminum in one production run.
The company says the recall affects a very limited number of cans.
The official product being recalled is the Blue Buffalo Homestyle Recipe Healthy Weight, Chicken Dinner with Garden Vegetables, 12.5 ounce can, dog food. The UPC for the product is 8-40243-10017-0 with a 'Best By' date of August 3, 2019.
Blue Buffalo says no other products are involved and it has not received any reports of illness or injury as a result of the problems giving rise to this recall.
