Sheriff's Deputies in Chautauqua County say a 4-year-old boy was seriously injured after being hit by a vehicle Sunday night.
Authorities say the boy ran into traffic on Route 20 around 6:15 p.m. in the Town of Ripley. According to investigators, the person driving the vehicle was unable to avoid the boy.
There were no charges filed as a result of the accident.
