Two people stabbed in Lockport, woman arrested

Lockport police have arrested a woman in connection to a double stabbing on Pine Street on Monday.

Officers responded to 198 Pine Street just after 5 p.m. on Monday, and found two people with stab wounds. They arrested 52-year-old Laurie Morley, charging her with two counts of unlawful possession of a weapon and second-degree assault.

One victim was taken to ECMC, their current condition is not known. The other victim was taken to Eastern Niagara Hospital. The second victim's injury is not life threatening.

Laurie Morley is due in city court on Thursday.
