The holiday season is a tough time of year for a Buffalo Mother.
Lorie Darnley never would have imagined that three years ago would be the last time she would see her only son alive. John Stein was shot and killed in his Riverside driveway the night of December 13, 2013. Stein was only 19 years old.
"For the most part it's been hard not on just me, his sisters, and his children," Darnley said.
Stein left behind three young children, including twins whom his girlfriend was carrying at the time of his murder.
So far Buffalo Police have made no arrests in this case. Police recently released surveillance video showing the moments before Stein was shot. They are offering a cash reward for any information leading to the arrest of the killer.
"I personally would like to face the person that shot my son and killed my son. Because my son was not a trouble maker," Darnley said.
