A suspicious device, referred to by Buffalo Police as a possible pipe bomb, was found by a post office employee around 8:50 a.m. Saturday on the steps of the post office located at 2061 South Park Avenue in South Buffalo.
Police say the suspicious device was an inactive device similar to thedevice found outside of the A-District police station overnight Thursday into Friday, which is about a half mile away from the post office.
Police could not confirm if this is related to the device found yesterday.
The device was not in any packaging and was not addressed to anyone.
Canine bomb squad, Erie County Sheriff's Department, ATF, and FBI all assisted with the suspicious device.
Authorities remain on scene as of 12 p.m. Saturday removing the device and investigating.
Police say the person(s) responsible for planting the device faces felony charges and they ask for the publics' help finding that person(s).
