The Buffalo Zoo's littlest lion is ready to make his public debut!
The zoo says families can come see its lion cub, Tobias, beginning this Sunday.
The zoo announced in April that grown African lions Tiberius and Lelei had welcomed a lion cub in early 2016.
Tobias was the only one of four cubs to survive, and the zoo kept him separate from the lion exhibit and the public to help ensure that he developed healthily. Tobias is the first lion cub reared at the Buffalo Zoo in 25 years.
Now 3-months old, zookeepers say Tobias is strong and healthy and ready to meet his fans.
Don't wait until it's too late -- zoo officials say the cub likely won't stay in Buffalo very long. He may be moved to another zoo in a few years to take part in a breeding program.
