If you want to experience Thursday night concerts at Canalside this summer, it will cost you.
Sources say all Thursday concerts along Buffalo's Inner Harbor will now cost five dollars for general admission.
It will mark the first time since the start of the Thursday night summer concert series, which originated at Fountain Plaza and later moved to Lafayette Square before Canalside, that visitors will have to pay a cover charge.
A portion of the new revenue is expected to go toward security and safety measures.
The 2017 Canalside Concert Series lineup will be announced Thursday.
