Buffalo's Canalside has moved the date of its holiday celebration and tree lighting because of the threat of rain.
The event will now take place Saturday, December 3rd from 4:00 p.m. - 10:00 p.m. It was scheduled for Thursday, but the rainy forecast caused event organizers to move the date.
The Annual Holiday Celebration & Tree Lighting will have children's activities, holiday music carolers and a vendor market. Ice skating will be open until 10:00 p.m. It costs $6 for anyone 13 or older, $4 for kids between 6-12 and it's free for kids 5 and under. You can rent skates there, and you can get a $1 discount if you bring a non-perishable donation to the Food Bank of WNY.
