A candlelight vigil was held at St. Peter and Paul Church in Buffalo on Monday night following the death of seven year-old Anthony Conti.
The vigil was attending by many Lovejoy community members including longtime Conti family friend Lisa Swain.
"He (Anthony Conti) was the sweetest little boy. He was always happy, had a smile on his face. There was no one he didn't like" Swain said.
Swain will be housing the Conti family as they deal with the fallout from a fire that destroyed their home.
It was announced during the Vigil that Anthony Conti's organs would be donated following his death.
"He will live on in other people which is a blessing."
