A $41 million project for retirees is set to break ground in Buffalo.
Canterbury Woods has officially purchased all of the land needed to build a continuing care retirement community project on the former Millard Fillmore Gates Circle hospital site.
“Now that the land is construction-ready, we are going to begin creating the future home that many local seniors have been captivated by and have already made a part of their retirement plans,” said Rob Wallace, president and CEO of Canterbury Woods.
The project will feature 53 independent living apartments, as well as an assisted living component.
