Buffalo police and firefighters were called to a home on Nottingham Terrace early Friday morning where a car crashed into the building.
The home is located right near Delaware Park, between Amherst Street and Meadow Drive. The call came in just after 2:30 a.m. Friday.
Police are trying to figure out why the driver of the Audi crashed. The driver told officers he swerved to avoid an animal and lost control of his vehicle.
He was uninjured and no one in the home was hurt.
The brick structure was damaged so badly, the Buffalo Fire Collapse Team had to be called in with the City Engineer.
No charges have been filed at this time.
