A Cheektowaga man, accused of fatally shooting his father, has been arraigned on second degree murder charges, according to the Erie County District Attorney's Office.
Prosecutors say 31-year-old Sirwilliam Hardy shot and killed his father, 54-year-old William Hardy, in his home in April.
Hardy pleaded not guilty and was taken to jail without bail.
If convicted, Hardy faces a maximum sentence of 40 years to life in prison.
