A Cheektowaga man faces 25 years in prison after pleading guilty in his girlfriend's death.
59-year-old Thomas Murphy admits to strangling 64-year-old Jean Hartwig to death, then setting her body on fire.
This happened between April 22, 2015 and April 24, 2015 inside the couple's home in the Williamstowne Senior Apartments.
Murphy pleaded guilty to Manslaughter in the First Degree and Arson in the Second Degree.
Murphy is set to be sentenced on December 5.
