Members of the community tonight joined the Clean Air Coalition and local legislators to discuss what's next for Tonawanda Coke after the most recent hearing earlier this week. Emotions certainly did run high in Kenmore.
The media was only allowed to stay inside the meeting for part of the time and were asked to leave when organizers told us the content matter was too sensitive for cameras.
As a group they discussed the court proceedings, the future of the plant and what they want to see done as a community.
While many are calling for the complete closing of Tonawanda Coke, the Clean Air Coalition wants to see justice be served.
