The new gymnasium for Kenmore East in the Town of Tonawanda will not be completed until next summer.
Workers say they ran into problems with utility lines in the ground. As a result the entire project had to be redesigned.
Until the project is complete, students will use the current gym.
The new facility, when it's done, will serve as an add-on.
