BUFFALO, N.Y. (WKBW) — Organizers for the 2021 Labatt Blue Buffalo Pond Hockey Tournament announced it has been postponed due to COVID-19.
The following statement was released:
"Given New York State’s guidelines for events and gatherings and to ensure the health and safety of our players and fans, RiverWorks and Labatt will postpone the 2021 Labatt Blue Buffalo Pond Hockey Tournament originally scheduled for February.
We will continue to monitor health and safety guidelines, weather and other factors to determine if we can successfully hold a tournament later in the spring. We will provide an update as soon as we know more."
The tournament was held for the 13th straight year in Buffalo in 2020.
