As Wyoming County prepares for Phase Three, data shows only one active case of COVID-19

WARSAW, N.Y. (WKBW) — Wyoming County is now reporting a single active case of COVID-19.

The county, which enters Phase Three along with Genesee and Orleans County as part of the Finger Lakes region on Friday, updated its data on Thursday morning. There are nine active cases in Genesee County and five in Orleans County. The three counties have been working together during the COVID-19 pandemic to provide an interactive map with updated data on confirmed cases, active cases and deaths.

Throughout the pandemic, 84 people have tested positive for the virus in Wyoming County. No new cases have been reported since June 8. Five people have died, and 78 have recovered.

The person with the active case of COVID-19 is under mandatory isolation. Seven others are under mandatory quarantine.
