CHEEKTOWAGA (WKBW) — The Cheektowaga Central School District has made the decision to pivot to a fully remote learning model until at least the end of November.
Students will begin remote learning in full on Monday, November 16th.
The Cheektowaga Central School District reports that both students and staff have been impacted by COVID-19 related absences according to a post on the district Facebook page.
"Currently and consistently this week approximately 15% of our staff have been absent, not all COVID related. Consistently over the past three-four weeks slightly over 10% of our student body have been absent. Again not all COVID related but enough to warrant proactive steps to be taken."
The district is asking families to check the district website starting on November 12th for more specifics and updates.
