NEW YORK (WKBW) — New York Governor Andrew Cuomo announced Friday, schools statewide which were originally to be closed until April 1, will now be closed until at least April 15.
Cuomo says following the two week extension, the state will reassess if and when schools will reopen.
Schools will remain closed statewide until at least April 15 to reduce the spread of #COVID19.

School districts will continue to provide childcare, meals and daily programming.
We will reassess at that time.
Several local school districts announced indefinite closures, those schools will return no earlier than April 15. All Erie County schools are closed until at least April 20.
