BUFFALO, N.Y. (WKBW) — CVS Pharmacy announced Wednesday it launched 16 additional locations in New York State that will administer COVID-19 vaccines, including Erie County.
CVS says the newly added pharmacies are in Albany, Erie, Fulton, Rensselaer, Schenectady, Schuyler and Yates counties and will receive 19,890 doses of the Pfizer vaccine each week.
The appointments opened Wednesday and vaccine administration begins Thursday, according to CVS.
There are now over 40 CVS Pharmacies in NYS offering the COVID-19 vaccine.
