BUFFALO, N.Y. (WKBW) — Erie County Executive Mark Poloncarz announced Tuesday the county is working with New York State and the National Guard to set up a mass COVID-19 vaccination site at the Buffalo Niagara Convention Center.

Poloncarz said the site would operate 24 hours a day, seven days a week.

Once setup, 3,000 doses a day or more could be administered.

Poloncarz said the county is hoping to open the site within a month, but it is dependent on vaccine supply.
