HAMBURG, N.Y. (WKBW) — Frontier High School in Hamburg will switch to fully remote learning for two weeks due to a number of COVID-19 cases, according to the superintendent.

The district notified parents last week that five staff members had tested positive.

"Four of the positive cases are teachers at the High School with an additional positive teacher at the Middle School. Due to these numbers and the additional High School teachers/staff that will have to quarantine, Frontier High School will move to fully virtual learning for the next two weeks," says the district.

Superintendent Dr. Richard Hughes says the high school will maintain fully distance learning until at least November 13.

The district says the high school will follow the current bell schedule virtually.
