Crash sends car into West Seneca home

Posted

Firefighters responded to a bizarre crash in the town of West Seneca Monday afternoon.

According to authorities, the driver of a car slammed into the back of another vehicle on Tampa Drive, off Dorrance Avenue.

“One car was unoccupied, it was parked,” Seneca Hose Fire Chief Frank Malota said.

The impact from the crash vaulted that parked vehicle nearly the length of a football field, ultimately crashing into a house across the street.

The driver of the other vehicle was taken to the hospital to get checked out.

So far, no charges have been filed.
