Crews responded to a house fire in Wheatfield Friday morning.
The Niagara County Sheriff's Office says firefighters were called to a home on Katie Drive just before 5 a.m. after reports of a fire in the roof.
Authorities say three people and three dogs were able to make it out of the home safely.
Deputies say heavy smoke could be seen from the roof and flames were discovered in the attic.
The cause of the fire is under investigation.
