Crews responded Wednesday afternoon to a fire in a plaza on William Street in Buffalo.
The fire broke out on the 400 block of William Street near Jefferson Avenue around 4 p.m.

The plaza is home to a bank, a beauty supplies store, and a mobile phone store on the city's East side.
Dispatchers called for a second alarm to serve as back up for crews on the scene, which was quickly brought under control.

The cause of the fire is under investigation.
