A man operating a powered-wheelchair was fatally struck by a vehicle on Evans Street in the Village of Williamsville Friday evening.
Michael J. Santillo, 65, of Williamsville was crossing the street when he was struck by a 2011 Chevrolet driven by Lori Mcartney Topor, 41, also of Williamsville.
Santillo was transported by Twin City Ambulance to Millard Fillmore Suburban Hospital and was pronounced dead around 8:30 pm.
No charges have been filed against the driver of the car at this time and the investigation is continuing.
