A 32-year old man was arrested for a deadly shooting in the Town of Collins.
Brandon White of Collins is facing first-degree manslaughter charges. Investigators say he shot and killed 46 year old Anthony Chipman of Gowanda.
The shooting happened Wednesday around 7:38p.m. at Spring Wood Trailer Park on Bagdad Road in Collins.
Officers found the victim inside and unresponsive. The suspect was standing in the doorway of the trailer.
Deputies say White used a pellet gun and they are not sure if his intent was to kill. Erie County investigators speculate this might have been some type of drug deal gone wrong.
White is held at the Erie County Holding Center pending his arraignment schedule for sometime Thursday.
