A Lockport woman was flown to Erie County Medical Center, early Tuesday morning, after a serious crash.
Niagara County deputies were called to the crash on Lake Avenue around 1:30 a.m.
Deputies say Tammi Gilbert had to be rescued and extricated from her Chevy TrailBlazer, after she drove off the road for "no apparent reason."
Gilbert was found unresponsive, according to deputies. They say she crashed into a ditch and was driving while intoxicated.
The woman was charged with DWI. It's unclear what her blood alcohol level was. Police have not said what condition she's in.
