Developer close to purchasing Adam's Mark hotel

Canadian developer and investor Harry Stinson is close to purchasing one of the biggest hotels in Western New York. 

As first reported by Buffalo Business First, Stinson says he expects to complete his purchase of the Adam's Mark hotel in downtown Buffalo by mid-to-late June. 

Stinson has already applied to the New York State Liquor Authority for a license to serve a wide selection of beer, wine, liquor at the hotel. He tells 7 Eyewitness News that the "quality and range of food service will see significant upgrades and expansion."

Stinson is purchasing the hotel from Visions Hotel, and could be paying as much up to $15 million for the Adam's Mark. He says it will be rebranded as the 'Buffalo Grand Hotel.'
