A Buffalo hospital that shut down its computer system after detecting a virus says it doesn't appear that patient information was compromised.
Erie County Medical Center continues to bring its computers back on line after the virus was discovered April 9.
The 600-bed hospital's website has been restored but officials said Friday that they'll work over the next two weeks to restore other functions, such as the transmission of X-ray images and medical record functions.
