Elementary students shaken up after school bus crash

Posted

A school bus full of children was involved in a morning crash in Buffalo's South Ellicott neighborhood around 7:45 am.

A First Student bus was one block away from delivering young children to Buffalo Elementary School of Technology. The bus was full of students.

A silver car had significant front end damage and lots of yellow paint on the hood. It came to a stop against a traffic light post.

A school official told 7 Eyewitness News the students were shaken up, but appeared to be okay. Buffalo Police tweeted that five people are possibly injured, including two passengers from the bus.

All students were checked out by AMR EMTs before being transferred to a second bus. The school told us all parents will be notified.

We've reached out to Buffalo Police and First Student for more information.
