A man who escaped custody after his arraignment has been captured in Chautauqua County.

Deputies say 34-year-old Jacob Raynor was found at his home in Sinclairville, hiding in a crawl space, around 3:15 p.m. Tuesday. Sheriff Gerace tells 7 Eyewitness News that Raynor cut his cuffs off and they were found in the home.

Deputies and NYS Parole arrested Raynor again, after he escaped from custody on March 7th.

7 Eyewitness News spoke with Raynor's wife over the phone. She says he was in the process of turning himself in to authorities.

Raynor was arraigned in Charlotte Town Court and will be taken to the Chautauqua County Jail.

Additional charges are pending against Raynor and an investigation into possible accomplices is continuing.
