Today is the last day to submit applications for the Excelsior Scholarship.
You need:
- copies of 2015 New York State income tax returns filed by you and your parents(s) or your spouse
- current unofficial college transcript showing number of credits earned yearly, if previously attended college
- Student Aid Report (SAR), which is sent with the FAFSA
The scholarship is a part of New York State's tuition-free degree program. This scholarship, in combination with other student-financial aid programs, allows students to attend a SUNY or CUNY college tuition-free.
