ALDEN, N.Y. (WKBW) — The Alden Central School District says schools will be delayed two hours on Tuesday due to a power outage in the area.

Nearly 5,000 people are without power in the town and village of Alden as well as parts of Clarence, Lancaster, and Marilla.

Alden Central Schools says school will end at normal time.
Power is expected to be restored by 7:30 a.m.
The cause of the outage is under investigation.
