BARKER, N.Y. (WKBW) — On Thursday, Barker Central Schools announced it would not be assigning homework to students during the week of Thanksgiving.
In a letter sent out to parents and students, the district says it wants students to recharge and re-center.
District Principal Michael Carter added the following
Spend time (in a socially distant responsible way) with family and friends. Be a kid. Be a parent. Be a friend. Don't worry about school and be in the moment.
