GOWANDA, N.Y. (WKBW) — Voters in the Gowanda Central School District have passed a two-part capital improvements project which will bring more than $30 million in improvements to the district.
The first proposition, which focuses on securing school entrances, energy efficiency improvements and repairs, was passed 610-302. The second proposition, which was contingent on the first passing, allows voters to choose between the baseball and softball fields being covered with synthetic turf or having grass. That passed 509-397.
