LEWISTON, N.Y. (WKBW) — All students at Lewiston-Porter High School will be learning remotely through at least November 16th.

The district announced on Monday that this shutdown will allow for further contact tracing by the Niagara County Department of Health and for COVID-19 testing results to come back so the school can have a clearer understanding of the recently identified positive cases.

The district hopes to open up to hybrid learning on November 17th.

Athletic events scheduled for November 11th and November 14th will go on as scheduled.

Orleans/Niagara BOCES vocational students will return to their regular in-person schedule on November 16th.

Lunch will be available for pickup at the main office entrance of the high school on November 10th and 12th from 8:30 to 10:30 a.m., lunch pickup will resume as normal once hybrid learning returns.
