BUFFALO, N.Y. (WKBW) — Teachers are facing a more demanding year than ever, but new data shows teaching in Western New York, makes it a little bit better.
The company SmartAsset put together some data on the best places to be a teacher.
The Buffalo-Niagara area ranked sixth nationwide.
In fact, half the top six are in New York state.
The study looked at housing costs, spending per student, teacher-to-student ratio, and one-year change in income.
Coming out at number one was the Rochester area.
