Niagara Falls Police are looking for the driver who hit a 12-year-old pedestrian and took off.
Police say the boy tripped and fell while he was crossing the street near 25th and Niagara Street around 6:00 p.m. Tuesday. That's when the driver in a white, older-model four-door sedan hit him. Police say the driver didn't stop, and was last seen heading west on Niagara St.
The boy suffered a fractured pelvis and spinal injuries. He's in serious condition at Women and Children's Hospital. Police are asking anyone with information or anyone who witnessed the accident to give them a call at (716) 286-4711.
