A woman in her 70s is dead after police said she suffered from a medical condition behind the wheel, and crashed her car.
It happened on William Street in Cheektowaga around 3pm Saturday. Police said the car plowed through a fence, struck a building and landed in a retention pond. The woman was pronounced dead at the scene.
Police aren’t releasing her name until all family members are notified.
