The Chautauqua County Sheriff's Office have charged 31-year-old Samanatha Dascomb of Clymer, with endangering the welfare of a child.
The Sheriff's Office received a complaint that Dascomb was having an inappropriate relationship with a then 16-year-old male student while teaching at Clymer Central School.
Police say the alleged relationship started in May 2016 and continued in various locations up until the complaint in March 2017.
Bert Lictus, Superintendent of Clymer Central Schools, tells Eyewitness News that Dascomb resigned for her position as a high school English teacher in March, the same month the complaint was filed.
Dascomb has since appeared in Town of Clymer Court.
