Buffalo Firefighters reported a fire early Sunday morning on Dewitt Street in the city.
It happened around 4 a.m. this morning. Officials say the fire began on the first floor and found its way to the attic.
The Red Cross assisted the eight adults and children who lived there. Everyone made it out safely.
An investigation into the cause of the fire continues.
