Cheektowaga Police say shots rang out on Aero Drive in Cheektowaga in the early morning hours of Sunday.
Police say no one appears to have been hit or injured.
Assistant Chief Jim Speyer says five men were arrested shortly after for criminal possession of a weapon. Two handguns were retrieved from the car the men were in. Speyer says the men had just left Tryst Nightclub.
Police say 29-year-old Terry Mims, 28-year-old Damone Cannon, 23-year-old Loren Williams, 29-year-old Lawrence Highsmith, and 27-year-old Joseph Craig were all charged with criminal possession of a weapon.
