First responders in Western New York are now getting some extra help in saving people's lives.
Today, Mercy Flight is set to unveil its four new Bell 429 Helicopters. The new additions to its fleet come from a "long-term lending effort" with the USDA and M&T Bank. They'll help provide better emergency response coverage across Western New York.
Mercy Flight is holding a special unveiling ceremony for the helicopters at its headquarters, which is formerly the Flying Tigers facility, at the Buffalo at 12:00 p.m. today.
