Former Buffalo Bills great Fred Jackson says he is working on signing a one-day deal to retire with the team.
Jackson confirmed his intentions in a text to 7EWN "I'm in the process of getting that done. Have always wanted to retire a Bill. Hope to have that worked out soon."
The story was first reported by Nick Veronica of the Buffalo News.
Jackson was a celebrated running back with the Bills from 2007-2014. He played one season with the Seattle Seahawks in 2015.
Jackson was back in Buffalo to "Lead The Charge" before a Bills home game during the 2017 season.
